To say that I am excited is an understatement, I am thrilled, but also secretly nervous, to announce the opening of my new online print store Henry and George!
It has been a while in the making, a couple of years of trial and error coming up with the right concepts and hours and hours collating stories detailing how I captured the images and introducing the characters I have had the pleasure to photograph over the years.
I am so incredibly lucky to have been able to combine my two favourite passions, photography and animals. To have had the opportunity to share the adorable personalities I have photographed over the years for everyone to enjoy has always been important to me; my images have been available to purchase on cards, calendars, and other printed products and of course those of you who have kindly purchased one of the 19 books I have published over the years, have had the pleasure to immerse yourselves in an entire collection of my imagery. But now, for the first time EVER, I am giving you the opportunity to purchase an original print from the collections I have created over the last, almost, 30 years.
The prints available for purchase on Henry and George are images from my early work all the way through to recent images; Animal portraits I created for the RACHAEL HALE brand, which were available on stationery, cards, and calendars worldwide, these were the characters that graced the pages of my first series of Book publications. Also available are images from my internationally published book projects The French Cat, The French Dog and The New York Dog, and make sure you have a wander through the ‘From My Travels’ collection, showcasing images that I have captured on my journeys. I will be releasing new images weekly to add to the collections, so make sure you keep a lookout and subscribe so you can be one of the first to few the new images.
As an added personal touch, each print you purchase comes with its own ‘story’ so you can get to know the character within the image you purchase or know exactly where an image was captured on my travels. I will share with you how I created the image, the process I went through, and the characters involved. How great will it be, when an admirer of your Fine Art Print, you will so proudly hang on your wall, asks you about the image, and you will be able to share all the details of your prints story.
I am immensely proud of my work, I photograph from the heart and capture the soul and true personalities of my subjects. I may not be the most technical photographer, but I strive to capture images of high quality that are simple, eye-catching, and full of emotion. I have chosen a selection of images to release for the opening of the print store, some are my absolute favourites and some I have a sentimental attachment too, others are ones I just think you will love, hopefully, there will be something there for everyone.
